2005 Maserati 90th Anniversary Spyder Questions? Call us at 814-833-0170! We are pleased to present this absolutely gorgeous and impossibly rare Maserati 90th Anniversary Spyder! If you're looking at this listing, you probably know all about these cars. They are perhaps the best value in modern exotic cars as you can get an Italian-built near-supercar with a full-blown Ferrari V8 under the hood and an F1 style transaxle at the rear of the car. This particular Spyder is extremely special, mainly because it's one of just 90 of these cars imported to North America. These cars were finished in either Blu Anniversario or Grigio Touring, with this car being of the Grigio Touring variety. The interior is Blu Navy with Argento Metallic leather on the seats and Argento TechnoCloth on the dash as an accent. The 90th Anniversary Edition Spyders are numbered (this being a very late number 83), and feature some awesome upgrades over a regular spyder including the full GranSport style exterior treatment with Gransport front and rear bumpers and side skirts, as well as Maserati Tridents inset in the front fenders. It also has ball polished 19" staggered alloy wheels with mercury finished calipers with red Maserati lettering on the calipers and red tridents on the wheels. All of the carbon on the car has blue nylon woven into it to give it an incredible blue accent. This includes the steering wheel, dash, center console, roll bar accents, and the amazing full blue carbon double-hump tonneau cover which you won't find on any other Maserati except these 90 90th Anniversary Editions. The interior of this Maserati is just beautiful. It has GORGEOUS leather seats which dont have much wear, and are finished in Blu Navy and Argento rich Italian leather. The center console is finished in blue weave carbon fiber, as is the MOMO steering wheel. The carbon work on the center console and steering wheel is absolutely incredible. To tie the interior carbon to the exterior, the rear roll bars are also carbon fiber, as well as the full carbon tonneau cover. The previous owner has upgraded the sound system with upgraded speakers, amplification, and a modern headunit with bluetooth and USB. The previous owners of this car were definitely a non-smokers. This GranSport has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags. The trunk is larger than you'd expect for a small exotic. The carpet floor mats are included and are in nice condition save for some wear in the upper corner of the drivers floor mat. Absolutely everything works and works properly. The gauges and warning lights all function and no warning lights are illuminated. This Spyder also has heated seats. As is common on these cars, some of the technocloth is showing wear which is visible in the photos. All of the sticky buttons and surfaces have been refinished. The exterior of this Maserati is in stunning condition and has no flaws that I could find. It is Grigio Touring in color as I mentioned, which is absolutely stunning and was one of just two available colors on the 90th cars. The car has its original staggered 19 inch ball poloshed wheels which are in fantastic condition. They're a perfect fit for the car's appearance in my opinion. The exterior condition is also like-new. The headlights are crystal clear and don't have even a hint of yellowing. It has a blue soft top with heated glass rear window which operates properly. Since it's a 90th Anniversary edition, it has an integrated glass rear windscreen. This was only available on the 90th cars. There are two small wear spots on the top which is typical of these cars and is caused from the top raising and lowering. The top works properly. The tires are in fantastic condition in the proper sizes for the front and rear. Continentals in the rear, and Pirellis in the front. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The Ferrari V8 engine runs flawlessly and we completed a standard oil service on the car. The F1 transmission functions perfectly. Especially in Sport mode, the shifts are very quick (about 0.25 seconds). The transmission has four modes. Comfort, Sport, Ice, and Automatic. They all have their own purpose and function well. In sport mode, the skyhook suspension tightens up, and flaps open in the exhaust system to make the car sound more aggressive. The car has the MSP traction and stability control. The clutch feels perfect, and has approximatley 54% of life remaining. The car is fitted with TubiStyle back boxes (mufflers) which cost approximately $5000. These make the car sound wild and exotic. They can be removed in place of OEM mufflers if the buyer should prefer the car to be completely stock. In summary, if you're looking for a Maserati Spyder, THIS IS THE ONE!
